PRICE OF SHELVES IS BASED
ON THE SHELF DEPTH
The price of shelves is determined by multiplying the price of the same wood species with 11" deep shelves times the Price Multiplier Value for the depth selected.
AN EXAMPLE OF CALCULATING PRICE FOR A SPECIFIC SHELF DEPTH OPTION
A request for price has been received for a Classic Style shelving unit with six 72" shelves (36 linear feet) Paint-Grade shelving, Wall-to-Wall layout, Unfinished (no wood finish), and with 16"-deep shelves.
The price quote for the unit with standard depth shelves (11" depth) plus shipping would be calculated as follows:
Paint-Grade Shelves @ $17.95/linear foot X 36 linear feet = $574.20
Shipping @ $5.95/linear foot X 36 linear feet = $214.20
The total price for 11" deep shelves would be $788.40.
To calculate the price for the 16" deep shelves, multiply the price of the 11" deep shelves times the price multiplier value for 16" deep shelves, which is 1.25, according to Table 1, on the Shelf Depth Options page.
The total price for the same shelving unit with 16" deep shelves is $985.50, which is calculated as $788.40 X 1.25 = $985.50
