RISK-FREE ORDERING GUARANTEE
Because of HouseWerks' exclusive Risk-Free Ordering Guarantee, you can order custom-built hardwood shelving and be assured that if you're not 100% satisfied with the quality of the materials and workmanship, you can return the shelving and receive a refund.
If we weren't so sure that you'd love the elegant, sleek lines of our contemporary-styled shelving and the exquisite, rich, natural grain of our hardwoods, we couldn't make such an offer. We would lose money!
Our Risk-Free Ordering guarantees a refund if the customer is not totally satisfied with the shelving unit received, as long as the following requirements are met:
- Customer's refund will be for the final payment made. The materials deposit paid is not refundable.
- HouseWerks must be notified within fourteen (14) days of delivery date of your shelving, expressing the intent to return the shelving.
- Return instructions will be sent by e-mail to the customer.
- Shelving to be returned must be received by HouseWerks within twenty-eight (28) days of the delivery date.
- Shelving that is returned must be received in the same physical condition as when it was shipped by HouseWerks. The guarantee is void if physical dimensions of the shelving have been altered. Small holes drilled in the back trim or the side trim for wall-to-wall shelves during the installation process are expected and as such are acceptable for returns.
- Shelving that was ordered unfinished cannot be returned if any surface treatment has been applied. Such treatments include, but are not limited to: stains, paints, lacquers, and oils.
- If a customer's design was designated by HouseWerks as a Risky Design,
the shelving unit built from that design is not covered by this guarantee. Such shelving can only be returned if materials and workmanship fail to perform according to the Forever Guarantee.
- Customers are responsible for all aspects of return shipping. Shipping insurance is suggested. Refunds can only be issued for shelving received by HouseWerks in the same condition as shipped.
- HouseWerks is not responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Make sure the return package is properly addressed.
- Original packing and boxes should be retained. Packaging that will adequately protect the shelves during return shipment will be difficult to find if the original packing and boxes are discarded.
- Refunds will be paid either by a credit issued to your credit card or by a check from HouseWerks.
