SHIPPING CHARGES
HouseWerks shipping charges are determined by the number of linear feet of shelves. The rate charged for all three styles of shelving is the same, $5.95/linear foot. There is a $30.00 minimum shipping charge assessed.
The number of linear feet of vertical supports is NOT used in calculating the shipping charges.
All orders are shipped by DHL to assure that your shelving unit receives the best handling possible during transport and arrives safely.
HouseWerks wraps your shelves in heavy-weight brown paper, encloses the shelves in multi-fold cardboard wraps, surrounds the cardboard wraps with 2"-thick medium density foam and then encloses the order in double-thickness cardboard cartons, all of which are designed especially for our shelving to assure safe delivery to your door.
Shipping charges are assessed to recover costs from the following expenses that HouseWerks incurs:
- Packing materials,
- Labor required to carefully wrap and package your shelving for shipment, and
- Shipping services provided by DHL.
HouseWerks believes that the extra care taken is a good investment to assure that your shelving arrives in the same condition as it was when it left our wood shop.
