FACTORS THAT DETERMINE THE PRICE OF A SHELVING UNIT
HouseWerks has no "base price" or "set price" for any particular shelving unit. Every shelving unit sold is custom-built to the buyer's specifications. With all of the options offered, preparing a price list would be a daunting task.
Total price of a shelving unit is determined by the following factors:
Shelving option prices are calculated by
four different methods. The methods and the options in each group are as follows:
- Number of Linear Feet of Shelves
- These options include:
- Number of Linear Feet of Vertical Supports
- These options include:
- Unit Price per Item
- These options include:
- Multiplication Factor Applied to the Subtotal Price

Shelf Depth
Shelf Depth is calculated by multiplying the subtotal of the order by the
Shelf Depth Price Multiplier Value (as listed in Table 1.) for the shelf depth selected. Total price is increased 5% for every inch over the standard shelf depth of 11".

Quantity Discount - a cumulative discount of 3% per $1,0000 is given. The maximum discount is 21% for orders that equal or exceed $7,000.
